Go[o]d vs. [D]evil

I don't know if I believe in heaven or hell.
Once I thought so, but I've never felt well.
I've always thought "there's got to be more".
But isn't it just like life to even the score.
Why is it so important to others if you do or don't believe?
Biased on either sides, doesn't matter what you achieve.
Would people act different if what they believed was reversed?
Would atheists live by a single bible verse?
Would believers start to do what they want?
I'm filled with these questions, not trying to taunt.
I don't want to know for fear of burning in hell.
I just want the truth so my soul can set sail.
