Sick and Tired
I'm so sick and tired
I'm so really sick and tired
Of being sick and tired
To the point it's exhausting
I'm sick and tired of the struggle
But way too afraid of change
Sick and tired of the usual
But too afraid to step outside of my range
Sick and tired of being single
But too broken to let myself be loved
Sick and tired of the hate and criticism
Yet too angry and prideful to rise above it
Sick and tired of you accusing me
Because you're too insecure to let it go
Sick and tired of figuring out the problems
That you're too stubborn to let me know
Sick and tired of hiding my emotions
But too afraid to let them show
Sick and tired of dreaming about my past
But drowning too deep in my pain to let it go
Sick and tired of your entitlement
When you refuse to pay what you owe
You're sick and tired of me lying
When I know that you hate the truth
You was sick and tired of being treated like a child
But now regret that you didn't enjoy your youth
You're sick and tired of all the drama
But love to laugh at other's pain and dysfunction
Sick and tired of the bullshit and gossip
But it's always entertainment at every function
Sick and tired of people being followers
But too filled with jealousy and hypocrisy to let others be themselves
Sick and tired of people hating on you
But too foolish to realize that flamboyance is bad for your health
Sick and tired of not living the life you want
But too lazy and stagnant to get up off your ass and work for it
You're sick and tired of my talent
Because you know I'm not afraid to show it
Sick and tired of you blaming me
And I'm sick and tired of blaming you
But you be accusing me of cheating
When I know you're out here cheating too
She's sick and tired because "niggas ain't shit"
Yet she refuses to hold accountability for the men she chose
He's sick and tired since "bitches ain't shit"
But he refuses to acknowledge the good women that he's scorned
Sick and tired of all the pain
But too filled with grief to confront it
Sick and tired of living in the worst of moments
Not knowing that we all could die from it
Sick and tired of being alone
But too guarded to let you get close to me
Sick and tired of being a slave
But too scared to set myself free
Whites are sick and tired of the mentioning of racism
But when us blacks get killed they never speak out about it
Black folks are sick and tired of white supremacy
But we're too timid and inclusive to do anything about it
I'm convinced that everyone is sick and tired
But won't muster the strength and courage to do anything about it
I'm so really sick and tired
