You're Not Mine
I am not to name you,
You are not mine,
Your beauty pristine,
Subtle and fine,
Like fig and wine,
Like full moon’s shine,
Youthful divine,
Beauty itself had drawn a line,
and goddess nine
had all combined
yet they could touch
none of that line.
But you,
(Although you are not mine,)
In one step
you crossed the line,
You are not mine,
Our fates just could not intertwine.
Thus I am not to name you.
