The bounce effect
You bump your head
but I'm the one bruised
You slit your wrists
but I'm the one bleeding
You fall
but I've got the broken bone
You're speeding
and I'm the one crashing
You're laughing
While I'm crying
I turn on the light
but you're the one shining
I buy the shoes
but you're wearing the heels
I'm standing in front of the fireplace
but you're the one who's feeling warm
Why cant we just hold hands
landing at the same time
and bounce back up
... together
but I'm the one bruised
You slit your wrists
but I'm the one bleeding
You fall
but I've got the broken bone
You're speeding
and I'm the one crashing
You're laughing
While I'm crying
I turn on the light
but you're the one shining
I buy the shoes
but you're wearing the heels
I'm standing in front of the fireplace
but you're the one who's feeling warm
Why cant we just hold hands
landing at the same time
and bounce back up
... together
