American Snowflake
I play inside my head
walking on water
and flying up high in the sky
no man dare speaks truth
that my crazy
is just as crazy as any others
can’t make sense out of a world that
simply doesn’t make sense
yes, I am wrong
as wrong as anyone
but maybe that makes me right
being the one that recognizes
just how insignificant
our baby blue ball really is
some people like to build walls
those walls crumble around me
when stupid speaks
my eyes roll out of my skull
fools talk with such righteousness
not really knowing
how it is to be suppressed
oh, how easy it must be
making up all your hardships
perhaps if you throw money to fire
then maybe you can claim
a bit of credibility
there’s one person in particular
that can’t help but talk with
a mouth full of fucking shit
just having no point
and their breath smells badly
probably better off in hell
but no, for some reason
other shit heads build him a stage
for this head of the shits
can feel vindicated
who is me?
I am just a snowflake
like any other
not special
very fragile and cold
just like you!
all these lambs
being lead to the slaughter
thinking they know the answers
only idiots speak in absolute
I believe in a god
but I’m not stupid enough to think
a book will tell me everything
so I follow a simple formula
looking inside myself
what I know is right and wrong
treating people with respect
putting myself in their shoes
if only to remind myself
I am a snowflake
just like any other
not special in anyway

we can become a storm
one that shows strength
and smash down on those that
tried to ignore our fury
