I can picture the view through the window, birds chipping
Sunny skies and Sea saws swinging

I don't wanna paint these walls clustering in
I don't wanna paint the house that's impossible for a ant to fit in
With chains around the door, trying to keep even the slight of wind from coming in
Windows painted black not even a ray of the sun shining in
Traps and knives pointing at everything that opens
There are alligators on the yard and Lions on the loose
I'm trying to paint a picture of a house

Afraid of painting a picture of my heart
Afraid of painting a picture of my life
Afraid of painting out my insecurities
So I'm going to paint a picture of a house
A gigantic beautiful house I wish was my heart
