Something for Sometime

I don’t want to stop
looking at you
this feeling is just too good
rushing in my head
babe, you’re a chemical
if it’s all I have to hold onto
but I want you
so wrap your arms around me
then come morning
we’ll blame it on the alcohol

can’t say it ain’t so
this has been something
for sometime
leave your fears at the door
it doesn’t have to be anymore
than sometime

come to me
if only in a dream
like an angel
my ultimate fantasy of
ripped clothes and body sweat
we’ll leave the room a mess
living life like it’s too short
no other worries that bind us
I can see it in your eyes
calling for my touch
this is what we both desire

can’t say it ain’t so
this has been something
for sometime
leave your fears at the door
it doesn’t have to be anymore
than sometime

they say fools rush in
and I can be such a fool
so take the lead
tell me how you need me
we can talk for awhile
or we can go full throttle
no other thing I rather do
waiting seems just fine
because I know
it only takes time
till some unregretful kissing
leads to something more
