In Danger
Slitting wrists and hanging ropes
I imagine all day long
The time, the place to get it done
But then I think my dad and mom
A transplant failure my body rejecting
The soul I was given when I was born
It shaves my hair, it sleeps all day
It's blank behind a screen, laughs at what I am watching
Left alone the side effects rise to the surface
Deafening my ears with their screams
Distractions to stay alive
Only known antidote for now.
