Decision
I wasn't addicted!
In conscious,
I made the CHOICE
to inject,
to inhale,
to digest you.
I CHOSE
you to be
my high.
To accompany me
through
the deep sea
of pleasure.
Never
did I suspect
you would leave me
to drown.

This poem is about being "addicted", or as I feel "choosing" to love someone who ultimately abandons them. This is not about drug addiction. It is included in my book, To Love, Circumstances & Consequences.
