Left to the very last minute
Not even time left for regret
Where time has fallen by too fast
Procrastination couldn't last
Still enough chances possible yet
Left to the very last minute
Frantic flailing as the sands pour
This has happened again before
A case of forgo and forget
The lazy ways are far too set
Left to the very last minute
No such time left to even fret
The future: always tomorrow
The past: missed options and sorrow
The reaper will collect the debt
