Dead Flowers

Aye... flowers dead... that said,
Nature will have her way...

These dessicated skeletons, bearing their burden of seeds,
will feed the birds over winter
and bring forth a new crop of Sunflowers
in the spring...

So we mourn... heal... and rejoice in Nature... flow.

Author's Note
I had just read "Sunflower Fields" by seeking kate and the poet's imagery inspired this piece.
