The Weight
The Weight
The weight of your love is holding me down
A way for me from under it cannot be found
I have cried for so long and so many tears
Alone in my dark room where no one hears
I have waited for so long on your love to find
But my heart and soul is running out of time
I listen close to every word that you do not say
The weight of your silence takes a toll on me every day
Staying hurts me but to leave I know would hurt more
Wish the love I have for you that you would no longer ignore
This weight of emotions I feel are crushing my heart to dust
I really do not want to leave but leave I will if I must
The weight of your love is holding me down
A way for me from under it cannot be found
I have cried for so long and so many tears
Alone in my dark room where no one hears
I have waited for so long on your love to find
But my heart and soul is running out of time
I listen close to every word that you do not say
The weight of your silence takes a toll on me every day
Staying hurts me but to leave I know would hurt more
Wish the love I have for you that you would no longer ignore
This weight of emotions I feel are crushing my heart to dust
I really do not want to leave but leave I will if I must
