Red Carpet
Magazines, tabloid pressed cheap paper,
the starlight imitation of television screens glaring out
of a thousand windows trapped within an unnatural dark,
Paparazzi, red carpet walk downs,
marching fashions,
emotions perfected in mirrors now on center stage,
the microphones and cameras ambush their prey,
The flare of the flash gets caught in their eyes
making them look like demons.
