Image for the poem His Songbird

His Songbird

Her body calls out to him like a songbird, sweetly singing to him from afar. The incandescent glow of her sweet, tender flesh ignites the embers of lust in his eyes. Her decadent body stirs his soul and steals his mind, a craving beyond reasoning. His core is left aching to inhale her scent and leave it to linger on his skin. His mouth, watering for the divine taste of her tongue as it dances with his.  His lips wishing to consume her every being, fluttering like butterflies across her skin, relishing in her sweet essence. His hands so eagerly long to hold her body, tenderly caressing her every being. His desire is well beyond the need to enter the wet ravine of her thighs, his pulse is sped raw and willing, craving  their sweet ecstasy. He yearns for the  serenity of all she is, he wants all of her, to touch her from the  inside.

Her mind. Her body. Her soul.

The place where his songbird sweetly sings and calls out to him from afar.
