You were so tiny in my arms,
Lookin up into my eyes,
I didn't even realize.
Not once or twice but three times would be the last I'd see..
Your sweet baby blues
Lookin back at me.
Lil' fingers around my class ring,
Like you always do.
How could I ever think it would end n be thru.
No more late nite cuddles, or smiles.
No more workout lil' kicks n giggles,
No more lil' cries or wiggles.
The only thing I have was that you were held in your last moments with me.
A Question still unanswered of how it came to be.
And how you'd look and be with your amazin personality.
Your hair a dark fine brown,
Your skin pale as snow.
I can only imagine now.. of how you'd grow.

Unanswered question I have til this day, That I won't ever know while I'm here on this earth you see..but i know you'd want me to continue to luv n live free.. I miss you tremendously. And I am as I promised.. til we meet again my lil wiggle worm.. Mommy misses you.

I'm sorry for your loss, Diamond. No parent should go through the torment of losing their child. Despite your suffering, you've created a beautiful and heartfelt poem. It's an honor to read it.

As a father of four with a miracle fifth on the way this hit me deeply. Losing a child is the worst experience in nature that no one should have to know.
I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like and to be honest I wouldn't want to. Pain is often the driving force behind artistic creation, for the artist is the one who can turn something dark and agonising into something beautiful.
My deepest sympathies to you.
