Rearranging the stars

Too many times its appeared
Burning circles around me like fear
These cold rusty chains try to hold me
The one with the key claims he knows me...

But I feel safe where I stand.
In this darkness I reach for your hand.

Ten thousand tears can't make these crops grow.
This garden is dead!
There's nothing to show!
The vibrant display of green, blue,      and red...
They've withered away like the thoughts in my head.

January just doesn't feel the same.
Its the first breath of a new year...
But nothing will change!
For I've been here before thirty six times.
If it hasn't already, it'll leave me behind!
Maybe my worst fears are better, by far
Than the mess I could make...
Rearranging the stars.
