Weeping Willow Tree
Weeping Willow Tree,
you always look so down.
Your leaves are turned over.
And your bark wears a frown.
Oh, Weeping Willow Tree,
please don't look so gloom.
Soon it will be spring,
and your blossoms will start to bloom.
Weeping Willow Tree
please don't look so sad.
Just think of all the birdies,
surely that will make you glad.
Weeping Willow Tree,
I wish you wouldn't cry.
But I can never make you laugh,
no matter how hard I try.
Weeping Willow Tree,
I wanted to say I love you.
Because after all these years,
you're the one I come home to.
you always look so down.
Your leaves are turned over.
And your bark wears a frown.
Oh, Weeping Willow Tree,
please don't look so gloom.
Soon it will be spring,
and your blossoms will start to bloom.
Weeping Willow Tree
please don't look so sad.
Just think of all the birdies,
surely that will make you glad.
Weeping Willow Tree,
I wish you wouldn't cry.
But I can never make you laugh,
no matter how hard I try.
Weeping Willow Tree,
I wanted to say I love you.
Because after all these years,
you're the one I come home to.
