Prayer

God,
can you hear me?
It's been a rough day,
and I wanted someone to talk to.
God,
do you love me?
Every time I try to pray,
I feel like my message never reaches you.
God,
do you care?
You see me struggle,
but yet you never lend a hand.
God,
is life just your dare?
It's like we are meant to run in circles,
just to be your "lambs"?

I'm down.
I'm out.
I'm in for the count.
I've kept my promise,
now where's your end?

The never ending love?
The grace?
The "always lending hand"?

God,
Today is the last time I pray.
I have no faith left.
You've let me down beginning to end.
God,
know everything is okay.
I've made it this far without you.
You were never a good friend.
