A Muse Me
You've always been there,
Now you're not;
Somehow gone,
But all I've got.
I'm always so scared,
I fear lots,
Solitude,
And my own thoughts.
When you said you cared,
Was it true?
Or was it just
the lust in you?
Why, after eight years,
Grow silent;
Leave with all your vibrant
guidance?
I'd never resort to violence,
But you know the way my mind gets..
I had the sense to buy your love,
But I didn't know the cost.
I used to believe I was rich,
I never saw how much I'd lost.
A Canyon in my afterthoughts,
Now I clearly see across,
And though you live inside my thoughts,
It's as a warning, not a loss.
Now you're not;
Somehow gone,
But all I've got.
I'm always so scared,
I fear lots,
Solitude,
And my own thoughts.
When you said you cared,
Was it true?
Or was it just
the lust in you?
Why, after eight years,
Grow silent;
Leave with all your vibrant
guidance?
I'd never resort to violence,
But you know the way my mind gets..
I had the sense to buy your love,
But I didn't know the cost.
I used to believe I was rich,
I never saw how much I'd lost.
A Canyon in my afterthoughts,
Now I clearly see across,
And though you live inside my thoughts,
It's as a warning, not a loss.
