She
Failed words, hung naked,
Draped in a sheath of smile,
She smiles, she smiles beneath a rain soaked city,
She dances; she dances beneath her senseless ground,
Fragile heart, empty cascade,
Draped in a crimson hue of stars,
She kisses, her hairs hung like ever the darkest ocean,
Her winds, her eyes, her lips. . .
Innocent rapture, painted skin,
Veins tangled like withered roses,
She cries, she cries beneath the winter white snow,
She weaves; she weaves a silhouette of drunken beauty,
A nebula of chalice, a beauty of innocence,
Radiance eyes, onyx like the darkest night,
She loves, her lips blood-kissed as roses mated in the autumn twilight,
Her shades, her eyes, her lips. . .
Once, a dream entwined,
Once, a mist transparent,
Once, a haze absolved,
Once, a love unquenched.
She was the epitome of beauty in crystal heaven,
She was the picturesque thought of artistic brain,
She was the last flower of autumn before the winter raged,
She was the charm of magician’s last act, that ruptured the audience’s heart,
She was the last seeps of rain that gently fell from the leaves verdant,
She was the colours of the rainbow aggregated,
She was the dream . . . chased.
