blue
inside the sadness I wept
I named it blue
it came across the ocean
becoming one within my soul
it's shaded with grief
it undulates and shifts
growing more poignant
and deeply colored
it kisses my pain
he is willing
that we should heal as one
great tears roll down his face
silently he whispers
I will show you
your own reflection
I turn to him
and peer into his great eyes
shining with the universes
I fall into them
where I have visions
I see a lass so fair
it is his beloved
she was lost to him
in the first revelation of creation
when her mind was deceived by a dragon
this beast took her to the land of the dead
where she broke
losing herself more each day
inside the truth stirred
but she could not see past the face of the liar
the lady and the blue
were from the land of forever
he said you are still among the lost
you are the lass in the vision
it's time you waken to me
shh it won't hurt
i'll awaken you gently
come with me now to the garden
come silently now
it's almost over
my eyes slowly blink open
I see he is the sun
and I the dawn
that kisses it eternally
I named it blue
it came across the ocean
becoming one within my soul
it's shaded with grief
it undulates and shifts
growing more poignant
and deeply colored
it kisses my pain
