Infatuation

An intense but short-lived passion.

You could do no wrongs when that love is missing in action. Shaking my head like when will you be done with practice. Blind so blind but you've always enjoyed the idea of acting.

You are young with an ambiguous heart. You see my lines and presume I want a brand new start. So you run and hide in hopes that when I search I get lost in the dark. But you should know my heart is cold numb and in the dark I bring the light.

I fought..
I fight...

My light won't ever grow dim.
I speak from my heart, you speak in the moment. I'm not surprised your words were a whim. I been through this before, it can happen again and again. Same old words but actions are slim. You can do as you please, remember I want you to win. You can be with him, him, or him wont stop a thing. I accept you as my friend but we must not be mature enough to know what that means because when we hang out it'll always be the same old scene atleast that's what it seems.

So what does this mean?
Are you shutting me out?
Cutting me off?
Do me like the bully in those old cartoons and tell me to get lost? Thought you were bold but you don't have the guts to tell me so instead you fold.

Girl you drive me crazy then you drive me wild but I must admit I like your style. Your probably going to read this, take a deep breath then smile and say wwooww. I mean no harm nor offense, just know I'm content being someone your not with. I only support you and your growth. I show no hate, only love because that's what I know. No more good-byes and farewells thoe, just more hi's and hello's from an old foe.... You're still missing out on something good thoe ;) LMAO

Author's Note
Beautiful like the stories you tell and the words that you speak. Talented even more so than me so in this poetic game I'll never try to compete. But understand I do notice everything...
