PAST DUE
Can distance dull as it sharpens pain?
A few more steps might end this game?
As your Life's razor edge defiles her tender skin.
Your Bitter Beginnings engender her rope's end.
Is this the thing, she was born to do?
Drippin' promises that ain't comin' true.
Forever she's pays your price,
cause your pain never free.
Is this the way it's suppose to be?
Another forbidding tonite.
On your frigid, charcoal streets.
Her mind's a world way beyond relief.
Why is your bit of pleasure,
worth more than her slice of peace?
