shift in reality

a shift in my reality
recognition of who i am
not so obvious
who am i ?
varies considerably
location of my brain
less clear day to day
my views upside down
recognizable thought elusive
maybe there is less inside
then what appears on the surface
why do people respond to poetry
does there need to be deep structure
the problem with creativity
value judgments
and the crushing weight of speculation
 
i am going to clear my memory
feed it to a blind dog
then see if i can recognize my voice
or some familiar word
in a poem,
i once wrote.
