If i thought that you could help me
by now
id have asked for it
and id have told you everything
but
It would have to be for something just a little more
than this self satisfied fardel
something more
than a sense of my own sufferings importance
and id have to think
for more than a minute
that it wouldnt just make you worry
and that we could really be together in this
even when i wish to be alone
