Seer

 
take me to the stars  
I've lost my way  
  
the colors of my soul collapse  
vision within vision  
until I lose sight of she  
the woman I am  
  
inter-dimensional travel  
has left me in the void  
neither here nor there  
I touched the ether  
just to fall flat  
  
for a time the veil ripped from my face  
forced to see the things hidden to mortals  
frightened I shut my eyes tight  
and with a mantra I chanted I will not see  
  
now left without flavor and voice  
I will that I would see again  
  
the universe at the tips of our fingers  
the great cosmos lives inside us  
we evolve, expand and are freed  
from the enslavement of our minds  
  
as I write I begin to make contact  
finding my voice echoing from the other side  
from within deep space  
my face is seen and recognized  
and I know I am alive
