And You Get Screwed With Every Turn You Find ,
And Your Words Are A Maze , No Matter What You Say ,
This Is A Gangbang Of Your Mind ,
When Life Is A Bitch , Blunt Yet True ,
And All That Is Gets To You ,
Dream Everthing You May And Is Shall Be ,
Go Beyond , Set Yourself Free ,
Be What It Is , And Be What It May ,
Though Some Say No , And Some Cry Not Nay ,
You Gotta Rock , You Gotta Roll ,
You Gotta Do What's Right For Your Soul ,
And If There Is A Tenderness ,
Let It Be Consciousness And Awareness ,
Let It Be Rebirth Beyond The Bliss ,
Beyond Of The That , Beyond Of The This ,
Beyond Of The Hiss , Beyond Of The Kiss ,
And Though The Pain Some Would Say They Miss ,
The Pain Is A Way , As Ecstasy , Slave Is The Master ,
And With Every Turn , As Chained Destiny , The Wheel
Just Goes Faster , And With Chained Destiny , Comes
The Great Yearn To Be Free , To Break Otherside Thru ,
Beyond Eyes To See , And The Memory , Is My Key ,
The Future It Is , I Will Be , And In The Middle Of My Night ,
All Will Be Light , I Will Be Turning Both Left And Both Right ,
Embracing Sorrow And Yet Still Great Delight , It Is Wise Child ,
To Possess Second Sight , Beyond Bound To Just Mindless Comply ,
Looks Both Ways , And Then Asks Why , And It Is In Between
Each Every Word , Some Speck Of Truth I Might Of Heard ,
Some Words Which May Pierce The Veil , Grant Me The Gift
To Tell The Faery A Tale , Beyond Of The What , Where , And Who ,
Not The Where Been , Dream Now , Is New , Just To Speak ,
And Draw A Door , A Portal To My Yet Evermore , Beyond Beginning
And Yet Infinity , Beyond Revealed And Mystery...

It is funny sometimes to watch what people gravitate towards viewing ,
or commenting on , here and on other , "non - poetry" sites I post on...
I think part of it is how they feel in the moment , or perhaps personal
likes , or dislikes...for instance , here , on DUP , my poems about Faery ,
or Paganism , draw far less interest or comments , than those erotic , or
love , or even dark in tone...
As well , my poems that I have posted that were political / rap in content
took longer to get interest , or very little interest compared to others...
I posted my 99th poem in a month , of which at least 70 were brand new...
( others I transferred from another site )
and that one "Love Letters" hardly got any interest for over a day , and for
awhile , not a single comment , and that one is an "epic" thirteen piece poem...
Again , I do think it is personal preference , personal likes or dislikes of style ,
or the person themselves , or what views the poet holds , that can determine
these things...
For instance , I am not shy , nor do I hold back , my feelings about organized
religion , my feelings about the current state of things in the world , or in my
sharing of deep esoteric information , that some would rather bypass...
Many would rather read about other's personal dramas , which I tend to avoid
like the black plague , and which make me want to avoid their poetry , if I even
get the hint that is where it is going...
And the truth is , most human beings are stuck , by need , or choice , in mundane
life , with mundane jobs , and relationships they are not happy with...
So , that is the focus of their writing...
As for myself , I stopped working mundane jobs , back in the 1980's , stopped working ,
period , in the 1990's , have been on disability , and live a rather magical life in general ,
where I do not have to pay attention to time , getting up and going to work , I teach
magical practices and ancient traditions , when I feel like it , grow medical herbs when
I feel like it , eat and sleep , when I feel like it...stay low tech , most of the time , no
Faceschmook , no Tweetybirding , and am by myself a lot...
So my life , is not drama , or political , or even social based...
It centers on , and is devoted to magical practices , and traditions...
And I write from the position of one who grew up in the 50,s , 60's and 70's ,
and seen "it all , done most of it"...I think that pretty much covers it...LOL !
Thank you again for being a friend , and someone who "sees" what not just
me , but others are really saying , even and especially , between and under
the words !
You are going to go far in this life...never lose that good heart , and strong mind !
( P.S. I as well think there is *so much* good , and great
poetry here to read , people get overwhelmed , and there
are of course , like anywhere Cliques and closed circles )
