A Light Heart Doth Call The Faery
In Perfect Love , And Perfect Trust ,
I Enter The Circle , To Do What I Must...
With Healing Intent , And Bearing No Ill ,
I Call The Directions , To Do My Will...
I Weave The Web , I Cast The Spell ,
My Thought And Word Doth Spirits Tell ,
In The Circle , Yet Worlds Between ,
With The Seen , And Yet Unseen ,
With The Wild , And Weyyrding Wey ,
I Call The Faery Out To Play...
In The Pause Between A Breath ,
In The Flutter Of An Eye ,
'Tween The Beating Of Mine Heart ,
Doth The Doorway Lie...
Speak The Words , And Circle Round ,
Three Times The Faery Ring ,
Wait ! What Be That Subtle Sound ?
Ah , 'Tis Ancient Song They Sing !
A Tinker's Bell , And Silver Harp ,
Resounds Through Wood , And Mist ,
Olde Stones Sing In Their Response ,
As I Be Faery Kissed...
Faery Fire , From Me Hand ,
Doth Trace The Runes In Air ,
Me Voice , Doth Pierce The Thinning Veil ,
To Tell Them What I Dare...
I Speak The Need , That Brings Me Here ,
I Tell Them Of Me Plight ,
They Listen With Mischevous Smile ,
Then , With Dance , Take Flight...
Some Be Winged , Some They Walk ,
Some Blink In And Out ,
Some They Just Be Always Here ,
Of This , I Have No Doubt...
I See Their Shadow , I See Their Light ,
Then 'Tween To What They Are ,
Children Of An Ancient Race ,
From The Faery Star...
Fallen Angels ? Some They Say ,
Or Demons , Come To Harm ,
I Know Them , As Just Trickster Souls ,
No Need For Such Alarm...
They Love To Tease , And May Harass ,
Yet Remind Me Of Child Again ,
And It Is This , When It Comes To Pass ,
That Keeps Me As Their Friend...
The Weight Of The World On Me ,
Keeps Them From Me Side ,
'Tis When I Leave The Sorrow Behind ,
They No Longer Need To Hide...
Me Pain Doth Pierce Them ,
This Ever Be So True ,
And So I Ask , Remember This ,
When The Faery Come To You......
I Enter The Circle , To Do What I Must...
With Healing Intent , And Bearing No Ill ,
I Call The Directions , To Do My Will...
