Tonight
I sit here tonight
at 11:18
I'm feeling alright
it's the basic routine
I remember the days
when water crashed against the sand
when I'd completely lost my ways
eventually all I had was a car and these two hands
I'd left my guitars
I'd left my friends
and family behind
I felt they were unkind
but I was crazy
my world was so hazy
I hated myself
everyday that I'd pull through
another bout of pain would ensue
I never knew what to do
I ran out of gas
and money, too
this too shall pass
your world is determined by you
but, what can you really do when you have a loose screw?
