Based on Sex

I don’t like spending time with you
Your jealousy is annoying
We don’t have much in common
And your friends, to me, are boring
I can’t stand your attitude
And the way you hate everything
I don’t really even care to be around you
Except for that one thing
Our attraction is undeniable
The ways we fit together
It couldn’t possibly be an accident
Because we give each other so much pleasure
How can we be so compatible,
Since we’ve never been friends?
We don’t have the same beliefs on anything
I wonder how this ends?
How have we lasted so long?
“A relationship can’t be based on sex”
But we’re still going strong!
Our union is so complex.
It doesn’t make any sense to me
The math just doesn’t add up,
In life I try to be an optimist
But with us, half empty is the cup.
I really can’t explain it
I don’t know what I should do
There’s no doubt in my mind that I love,
But I really don’t like you!
