Wander

Been walking along
Setting my sight up on ahead
Underneath a mountain
I turned feverish

Clad in a black suit
I twist a ring in my fingertips
Sweating and cursing
Along razor wire

Crystal clear water
I drop heavy and drink it quick
To drown thirsty troubles
And dusty fears

On foreign land
My wife last saw the sun
She's all gone, returned in pieces
And I swore to avenge

Two years in
I ain't getting closer
Lost out here near gas fires
To right a wrong

Ready to do time
Gonna shoot shifty mouths
Men who have no luck
Deep in Sinaloa

Pistol is all I need
It's hung loosely on my belt
Brought only one mag
So I won't miss

You once asked
If I regret anything at all
Tongue in cheek like I used to be
I said I'm going down
