Limpid
Foam-capped waves
a mountanous sight;
an ocean bleeding
afterlight
The great white Moon
a circling shark;
devouring darkness
and starry night
Morning bestirs
drunk on poems
reveal ductile bodies
limpid with Love

Uhmmmmm
I Love these lines:
"The great white Moon
a circling shark;
devouring darkness
and starry night "
Such evocative imagery!
And the staggering reinforces the lapping effect of the ocean waves. 💕
Awesome! 💑💋

I just joined DUP and it is for poetry like this that I did so. Every syllable carries a charge to the overall effect the poem has, not one is wasted, and each one is beautiful. High-level pictures of natural beauty that come to me effortlessly, thanks to this succinct and powerful delivery. Thank you for the inspiration.
