Winged Charmers

Lepidoptera, in the night
Drawing closer, closer to light

Dainty, silvery, dusty wings;
Nature makes such beautiful things!

Lepidoptera, sun so bright
What a vibrant and winsome sight

Striking, vivid, colourful wings
Nature makes such wonderful things!

Lepidoptera, in the dark
Resting on the bumpy tree bark

Quiet dancing under the moon
Calmer movement, morning is soon.

Lepidoptera, in the day
Feed on nectar, off on their way

Flower to flower, flying far
See how charming these creatures are!
