Every Decision In Life

Every decision comes down to the pros and cons
Like will this make me happy or will I regret this?
It is like when we are all trying to win the bronze
Medal knowing damn well that the internal bliss

Would have felt better with the gold ones around
Our neck. We worry too much about every rhyme.
We have to walk around with our straight crown
On knowing that it could be falling off at any time.

You look back aware that you made every decision
For a reason. Every single move was calculated and
Weighed carefully. With such delicacy and precision
I keep walking forward. Some day I will understand

Why I made the decisions I did and that is to live
The life I want to without any regrets or bad blood
Because I want to not only survive, but to thrive
To the fullest. So sometimes we ignore the flood

And storm warnings because we choose to listen to
The voices on the inside. We will let them stay.
We have chosen what makes the sky clear and blue.
When the road reaches a fork, we will know which way.
