Fire & Gasoline
I sit here at night, in hopes of a different life,
Why should I want to change myself, for someones
love, I try to fight this feeling inside, but I know
It's from up above, I'm still holding on to what
I knew and not for what I know now
Like fire and gasoline we do not mix,
For the rage inside only goes higher and higher,
With the moon shining down on true loves flame,
It's no secret we will go insane, if we fall apart
At the seams.
It's up to us, to put out this fire from within, retrieving
Our souls before forever losing it in the flames,
We look into each others eyes, knowing the
Love we have is no lie, but how can we survive
Without knowing a thing.
With tears in my eyes I tried not to cry,
With the love I have inside will never say
Goodbye, I know we have to part, but
You will always remain in my heart.
