Shhh!
Shhh!
It's a Secret.
They made me promise
not to tell.
They told me not to share
the knowledge
they imparted upon me.
But I'll tell You,
As long as you promise
not to tell
another living soul.
They told me
my memory would fade,
And I would be
Considered crazy
in my world
If I shared the truth.
Yet what I recollect is this:
All life up to now
Has been
One giant dress rehearsal,
And the show's
about to start.
Places, people,
We know our parts,
We know this play by heart.
We've read it, acted it,
Been the part,
hundreds of times over.
We only have one
opening night.
Let's make it special.
Curtain's opening.
Play's about to start.
No chatter
