Dear Gahddess, it's really catastrophic. I saw the news here at the other side of the ocean. Just thinking if there's something that needs changing, then it has to be done the faster the better, otherwise the tragedy like this would happen again some day. This news also makes my heart heavy. I will pray with you too.

Thank you Rose! It is heartbreaking and it will happen again. and again if our leadership continues to turn a blind eye to thus catastrophe. Our top guy seens concerned about himself, hence the last line about golf.
Re: Re. SENRYU SENSELESS
Now I see why you mentioned going golfing. The ignorance is really annoying. Where is his promise?

so tragic, it hurts so much when you hear news of innocent lives being taken.

That's for sure. And to read of what kind if people they were, their accomplisments, their potential is doubly tragic. Thank you Ani! Was my message clear in the piece? I'm fear sometimes I'm misinterpreted.

I see the message being clear. Unless I am mistaken.
To me it speaks to how desensitized we have become.
Unless it is your own loved one that has been hurt or killed people just carry on everyday like it's something that happened in a soap opera or something. I think people forget or fail to connect maybe to the realization that the lives lost to violence are sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers.
It is a difficult loss to bear but people carry on with their lives without missing a beat, because it is not their loss. But it so easily could be and that's why it's important to be more vocal about firearm laws and regulations.

Yes, that's right. It was also a commentary on our current leader. He's all about himself. His ''our prayers are with you" ring hollow and his support of the gun lobby in the face if such tragedy is insensitive and completely self serving.

To thine own self be true I suppose. Some folks fight injustice by playing golf others write erotica.
