Black
She sobs alone on her bed.
Praying, to be dead.
Tears race from her eyes.
Anguish, tells no lies.
Shrouded in a veil of black.
Fingernails tracing a track.
She can't do this anymore,
he comes in through the door.
Daddy, please not tonight.
Baby, it will be alright.
Daddy, please.
Baby, put your mind at ease.
Brushing her hair behind her ear,
her body tenses with fear.
Runs his fingers through her hair,
undresses her completely bare.
He maps her body with his fingertips,
exploring every inch with his lips.
He gently lays her back,
her mind fades to black.
Standing in a field of lillies,
prancing and acting silly.
Here, she is alone.
Far from that home.
She doesn't want to do this anymore.
She can't be daddy's little whore.
she lays back looking to the sky,
why daddy, why?
She sobs alone on her bed.
WIshing, he was dead.
Tears race from her eyes.
Shame, tells no lies.
Shrouded in a veil of black.
She lays on her back.
She can't do this anymore,
he gently closes her door.
Praying, to be dead.
Tears race from her eyes.
Anguish, tells no lies.
