Yesterday I thought I saw you
Sitting there with a guitar
Playing music that I used to love
I went cold as I walked closer
Just to find it wasn’t you
I sit and wonder what would I do
If I have to see you again
No matter what has happened
Or how time has passed
How will I greet you
What will my face say

Lovely verses - lovely poetry - for some reason the first stanza made me think of penguins - odd! But that is down to me - giggles.

You've been in my brain lately
In my moments of clarity
Between my insanity
I wonder how it would feel
To feel your embrace
A longing hug?
A spark...
Or drifted spaces too far to reach again
How would I feel
What would I say
3 years gone by
I've changed in every way..
Perhaps you have too
We will meet again someday
Our lives so different
But our hearts still the same
I hope that you are happy
I trust he treats you well
