Death

12:31pm (1/9/17)
Death.
It doesn’t matter when
It doesn’t matter where
It will leave you with a feeling
Of hollowness and missing
There are no final hugs
No waves good-bye
Just the feeling of regret
And the feeling like someone
Has scraped the inside of you raw
And without happiness
Sometimes you forget
Forget that they’re gone
And maybe you will laugh
And point out a cloud
Shaped like something you know
You will look next to you
And they won’t be there
And that familiar pang
Will return once again
As you realize they are gone
And you will never get to see them again.
