Suddenly Timeless

 
Moments go on forever,
Minutes go on forever,
Hours go on... forever.

I think of this tainted society
I am part of it
Like the moon plunged into the sea
I feel trouble ahead
Between me and the dark forest

But for now, I lie here in awe of Gods mercy.

Moments have past,
Minutes have past,
Hours are yet to come.

A tear draws to my eye
And the wound re-opens... again.
That timeless blood spills from the heart,
effort to fight is lost for just a moment
And the trouble that was past is back for a time.

But your soul will hold fast,
As it always does.
And the heart will weaken,
Just a tad.

I pass through these suddenly timeless moments
And savor them if I can

But for now, I lie here in awe of Gods mercy.
