Not the Root of all Evil

Money is not the root of all evil
A liquid power of the people
It's just a simple f-ing tool
That is powered by ideals
Like faith hope and honesty
Backing hard work and possibility
When it gets gamed by greed and theft
It does have less value to us
To glean from what fraud has left
Or shun it like festering puss
But even when tainted by fraud
It's still a good tool from God
And even deflated by theft is not gone
It’s value for us lingers on
