Remember not tomorrow
Go slow into the darkening night.
Leave no ripples on the lake,
Touch light the air you breathe
Do not disturb the dusk,
The fading blues and white.
Calm the ear and
stay the flickering eyelids
Listen for the owls and fox
none must hear your thoughts.
Blank your mind,
neither think nor fear.
Laughter another day.
Neither smile or weep
mourn not, nor please.....
Anger unknown sickness gone awhile.
Smooth wrinkled brows,
Relaxed the arm, lie down the limbs
Sleep, sleep, sleep and deep,
Sleep the sleep of childhood
With dreams of yesterday
and remember not tomorrow.
Leave no ripples on the lake,
Touch light the air you breathe
Do not disturb the dusk,
The fading blues and white.
Calm the ear and
stay the flickering eyelids
Listen for the owls and fox
none must hear your thoughts.
Blank your mind,
neither think nor fear.
Laughter another day.
Neither smile or weep
mourn not, nor please.....
Anger unknown sickness gone awhile.
Smooth wrinkled brows,
Relaxed the arm, lie down the limbs
Sleep, sleep, sleep and deep,
Sleep the sleep of childhood
With dreams of yesterday
and remember not tomorrow.
