Green
No one is as or more beautiful than her, her picture has to be taken.
So perfect that no one envies her, but she is the topic of most conversations.
There is no mistaking, she`ll take your breath away..
Not just once in a while, but every single day.
Her breath is a spring breeze, just so refreshing.
Her tears are summer rain, always a blessing.
She is one of a kind, her uniqueness cannot be denied.
Her father presented her to man as the perfect bride.
He loved his wife, promised to take care of her, always and forever.
They were made for one another, their bond would not fade and sever.
He never neglected her, made her feel safe and secure.
The wiser he became, the more she became mature.
She blossomed with further beauty like flowers near a permanent stream.
She was happy all year round, ever green,
the whole picture looking serene.
All that is beheld from afar,
look closely, you will see scars.
She has been horrified by time and witnessed enough bloodshed to paint mars.
Her husband has an affair with the stars, but doesn`t want to get out of here.
He stays just to violate her body, and pollute her atmosphere.
He uses her for his benefit, her loss is his gain.
She tries her best to recover, but her efforts are in vain.
She has seen more pain than any physical being.
All this suffering is something she wish she can stop seeing.
She is reeling, she has a fever, she is always cooking up a storm.
Though she has always been as cold as she is warm.
She has lost form, deteriorating because of her husband`s mistakes.
Her father is determined to fix things, he`ll do whatever it takes.
Very soon, she will be happy, and more breathtaking and beautiful than ever before.
She looks forward to that promise that was made to her several thousands of years ago.
She will have perfect humans to take care of her forever more.
They will stop their pollution and tidy up the damage they did before.
She will never see war, and its disastrous effects.
She will produce fruit and vegetation with no defects.
Her deserts will flood with life as they become a sea of green.
She will be adorned with gardens, she will become a perfect scene.
Our earth is beautiful now, but very soon it will be perfect.
The wait, the work we have to put in will be worth it.
