Ramblings

 let's see if you can make sense
of my ramblings as I reveal
to you some of what I have
been thinking and feeling
it is true that I have strong feelings for you
you know that I love you even when we're apart
but sometimes you act as if you didn't know that
but I know that you know and deep down regardless of
what you say you always know how I feel about you
I know that you can see me like no other can
you see into my soul and see the real me
you see the child even though I try to hide her
you know about the other worldliness
and I can see through all of your anger and pain straight through
to the part that is lovable and sweet underneath it all
maybe you don't know that it gives me peace and healing
to know that you can see me this way and still have love
and maybe I do the same thing for you
I am hoping that I do anyways
our circumstances are not ideal but it gives me some happiness
to know or at least hope that love has survived despite
everything so therefore I remain
