Strength To Resist

From Ms. Harriet to Kaepernick we continue to resist
There's strength in numbers as symbolized by the fist
The trick is to unite to victoriously win the good fight
The fight for a better plight to our ancestor's delight

There is blood on the leaves and blood on the flag
Dragged through the gutters then told it wasn't bad
It's sad that the issue of race still exists in this place
A disgrace that needs to be replaced at a quicker pace

Yet we've got the KKK posting fliers in Loundon county
A bounty should be placed on their heads in each city
Clearly they're attempting to instill fear within all of us
Trust and believe this isn't 1923 and our guns will bust
