The King's Dream

The King had a beautiful dream that seems to have been deferred
I've discerned that many must've ignored it or just haven't heard
Because racist faces are disgracing this place here where we're supposed to be united
You can't deny it and the old star of the apprentice should be fired
I'm tired of the downward trajectory of this country and it's really vexing me
It's detesting for me to see his dream being demeaned like it's a fantasy
The presidency seems to me to have become an internationally hilarious comedy
Oh how it bothers me that he perceives countries as "shit holes" when the people look like me
Dr. King wholeheartedly believed that we should be able to peacefully coexist
So he resisted the status quo of racist hoes but we're still dealing with this bullshit
The Clinton chic would've been a better pick because she at least knew how to "act" diplomatic
Although that doesn't mean she'd be on our team just because she's a democrat
I know that the better of two evils is still an evil that will attempt to deceive the people
I can now see through the smoke and the mirrors much clearer like Horus flying above you
The King loved you and I so he sacrificed his life trying to devise a plan to open up America's eyes
Unfortunately some folks still believe in race superiority and see us as the bad guys
