She spoke truth.
Truth that rustled my soul.
Shook my core.
“He doesn’t understand you” she said in that voice.
“Don’t limit yourself” she said.
Truth.
Truth I didn’t want to face.
The more truth she spoke,
The closer to her I wanted to be.
I wanted to wrap myself in her.
Inhale her scent, hold it inside me.
Explore her body, every inch and every mile.
Become intimate with her being.
I wanted to know this girl inside
And out. Map out my journey
In kisses and nibbles.
Speak to her soul the way she
Spoke to mine.
I wanted to run my fingers through
Her moonlit tresses.
Let her warmth keep me comforted
In this journey of truth.
Truth, she made me face.
Truth that rustled my soul.
Shook my core.
“He doesn’t understand you” she said in that voice.
“Don’t limit yourself” she said.
Truth.
Truth I didn’t want to face.
The more truth she spoke,
The closer to her I wanted to be.
I wanted to wrap myself in her.
Inhale her scent, hold it inside me.
Explore her body, every inch and every mile.
Become intimate with her being.
I wanted to know this girl inside
And out. Map out my journey
In kisses and nibbles.
Speak to her soul the way she
Spoke to mine.
I wanted to run my fingers through
Her moonlit tresses.
Let her warmth keep me comforted
In this journey of truth.
Truth, she made me face.
