My parent's were born in mexico
But i was born here
My parents are typical Mexicans working in the fields and drinking beer
I grew up poor  
When i was little i use to get my clothes at a ghetto thrift store
I grew up in Oxnard california
City with Mexican immigrants and chicanos  
A city that has cholos and marijuanos
I get hate by American's because i can't speak english right
And i get hate by Mexicans because i can't speak spanish right
Its a struggle being a chicano having to put up these fight's  
Getting respect by the cholos at the corner of the street is all i need
I just want to go kick it with them and drink brew and smoke weed
My mom always told me don't join a gang
Fuck that shit I'd rather bang
And let these motherfuckers know my name
