Why Would You?
Why would you want to lay
Get high and drunk every day?
Is your life just that sad
To give up all that you ever had?
Isn't there something left inside of you
To keep it from getting the best of you?
You have a place in which to start
I know it's true
Deep within your heart
A tiny grain of faith
A little self-deprivation
Goes a long way
When you need inspiration
Make a change and seal the deal
In no time at all
You will actually start to feel

& jus bcuz i like vodka n my cup
doesnt mean at all dat i hav givn up....;)
i c where u were goin wit dis piece but unless u truly know a person's heart u cant label him or her as a failure or anything else....but i do like ur concept....it mite actually inspire sum folks....;)

it's not meant to judge,i lived with someone who didn't ever have a sober day..was getting to the point that it angered them that i wouldn't allow myself to go to waste..tried to keep me from being there for family and friends..created the worst financial situation i have ever been in..and i am not totally against alcohol..but the mis-use of it and other substances..lol..you are much too coherent for this to be the case in your situation..i enjoy your comments..i will be posting more poems again soon..got some stuff going on with my family and hopefully will be able to concentrate on this again soon..take care
